What Is Image Resizing?
Resizing scales the pixel grid of a photo up or down (for example, taking a 3000×3000 px camera photo and reducing it to 1024×1024 px). All original content remains visible, but file size and pixel dimensions change.
What Is Image Cropping?
Cropping cuts away outer edges of a picture to remove unwanted background elements or force the photo into a square shape. While cropping changes aspect ratio, it removes parts of the original image.
